I’m one of the happiest and most optimistic people you’ll ever meet!
I don’t want to waste the precious few years I’m given on this earth. That’s why I try to do things that will bring happiness both to me and to others—while fulfilling the Great Commission and doing what I can for the Kingdom to come.
I’m also vegan, but probably not exactly what you imagine that to be. My reasons for going vegan at first were based only on the nutritional science demonstrating that a vegan diet is extraordinarily healthier than a typical American diet. But the science itself wouldn’t have been enough at the beginning if I wasn’t also interested in being and staying healthy for a long life.
Many people seem not to care about how their health will be after age forty. In fact, they don’t seem to care what it’s like now. Their reasons for eating recklessly usually invoke “enjoying” life or tasty food.
I’m not going to judge them, but I think they’re the ones missing out on life.
